Buyer - Global FTSE 100 Design and Construction company - Midlands/ North - Up to 40K


Our client is a market leading blue chip construction company that is urgently seeking an experienced Buyer to join their 200 strong procurement division. Their new Buyer will enjoy a collaborative atmosphere and be encouraged to progress within the organisation.

This experienced procurement professional will:
* Develop and implement new procurement strategy
* Work with senior management on projects, and advise on works type contracts
* Will be an expert within construction procurement and provide expertise over the designated category



Procurement Skills Required:-
* A background in construction procurement, preferably from a blue chip environment
* A solid understanding of works contracts, specifically NEC3 and JCT
* Degree qualified (or equivalent)
* CIPS qualified
