A leading blue chip organisation is looking for a procurement professional with strong general indirect experience to be part of their corporate procurement team based in London
This procurement role will involve:
- Working with a team of consultants on all procurement projects
- Engaging with senior stakeholders and managing projects autonomously
- Liaising with the business to define end user requirements
- Preparation and implementation of the procurement sourcing strategies
- Advising and recommending on policy and sourcing solutions
- Preparation and execution of tendering processes
- Drafting, negotiating and communicating contracts
The following procurement skills are required:
- Experience of working in large corporate procurement departments covering indirect purchasing and the consultancy sector
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to demonstrate significant maturity and professionalism
- Strong strategic sourcing and stakeholder management skills
- The ideal candidate will be degree educated and relevant procurement qualifications would be advantageous
