Procurement Manager

London, West London - £60,000 - £70,000 per annum

A leading blue chip organisation is looking for a procurement professional with strong general indirect experience to be part of their corporate procurement team based in London

This procurement role will involve:

  • Working with a team of consultants on all procurement projects
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders and managing projects autonomously
  • Liaising with the business to define end user requirements
  • Preparation and implementation of the procurement sourcing strategies
  • Advising and recommending on policy and sourcing solutions
  • Preparation and execution of tendering processes
  • Drafting, negotiating and communicating contracts

The following procurement skills are required:

  • Experience of working in large corporate procurement departments covering indirect purchasing and the consultancy sector
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to demonstrate significant maturity and professionalism
  • Strong strategic sourcing and stakeholder management skills
  • The ideal candidate will be degree educated and relevant procurement qualifications would be advantageous
