Purchasing Manager- IT Procurement- Central London- £65- £70K plus package

Due to rapid expansion, my client- a Global marketing and trading company- has an urgent requirement for a head of IT Procurement to join their growing and developing team.

The procurement post-holder will be responsible for:
* Management of tender processes for IT goods and services, including the preparation of tender documentation (e.g. RFI, RFP), whilst assisting in the specification of services and goods to be procured
* Negotiating terms and conditions to achieve the best price performance and risk mitigation
* Planning and conducting structured commercial negotiations
* Ensuring commercial policies and processes are adhered to


Procurement required skills and experience:
* Extensive knowledge over the procurement of IT Hardware, Software and Services
* Experience of the external resource procurement process in the IT services sector
* Experience managing supplier contracts and ensuring a top level of service performance
* University Degree (or equivalent) would be an advantage
* CIPS Qualified would be an advantage
