A procurement buyer, with responsibility for a number of indirect categories is required for a leading organisation. Reporting to the corporate procurement manager you will be given the autonomy to strategically drive these categories forward.
To be considered for this role knowledge of EU procurement regulation would be advantageous.
In this Procurement role you will:
- Develop sourcing strategies across indirect areas
- Manage suppliers and drive cost savings
- Promote Procurement best processes within the company
- Work with stakeholders and raise the procurement profile within the business
The successful Procurement applicant will need:
- Previous experience within indirect procurement
- Experience in managing commercial contracts
- Manage the tender process and lead negotiations with suppliers
- OJEU experience
- Be degree educated and ideally hold professional membership i.e. MCIPS
