A renowned global company which operate in the FMCG arena require a Procurement manager to join their extremely successful corporate Procurement team. The scope for this role will be within a number indirect spend categories, predominantly; HR, finance, IT and offshoring

This Procurement role will encompass the following activities:

• Create and implement a strategic plan for indirect sourcing platforms
• Engage with key internal and external stakeholders
• Tactically manage suppliers
• Introduce innovative and cutting edge cost saving ideas
• Promote Procurement “best practice” within the company

To succeed in this Procurement role you will need:

• Previous experience within indirect Procurement categories
• Have a strategic outlook and be an entrepreneurial thinker
• Have the gravitas to work with stakeholders
• Be able to lead negotiations
• Have experience of the full tender process
• If you have worked within an FMCG or retail environment this would be beneficial
